This class takes place every Saturday at 9:00am, unless otherwise stated on our calendar page.
Hello and Welcome to your PRENATAL YOGA class.
I am looking forward to spending the upcoming weeks and months with you as you blossom into the beauty of life. As mothers to be you are the one of the most beautiful gifts this life has to offer. A sacred soul resides within. A combination of faith love and hope in one tiny little seed of life grows. They are nurtured protected loved by you and so many others that surround and support you through this journey. Over the course of this program you will learn mudras (yoga of the hands), pranayama (breathing
techniques), asana (physical postures). All specifically designed to help and guide you safely during your upcoming labor and delivery. Birth does not just happen in the hips, it involves your whole being. Your strength will come from your emotional, mental, spiritual and physical being. So it is best to start long before the day of arrival. Your daily homework is to practice the Breathing exercise, it is ultimately what will help you focus on the task at hand during labor. Many prenatal women find themselves feeling alone at this time, unless they are blessed with a friend or family member who is also currently pregnant. Here in this class you will have the
opportunity to share your concerns and experience as you go forth.
Please remember to eat a light snack or meal an hour prior to class, bring water to class, and maybe even pack a light snack for your ride home. Some insurance companies will reimburse you for your participation in this class. I can sign off on this on the last class of the session, please remember to bring your forms in. Should you have any questions please contact me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
