Monthly Tarot Circle
Monthly Tarot Circle
Teacher: Megan Alexander of Embodied Home
Every first Tuesday of the month, beginning June 5th, from 7:15 to 8:45pm.
We all have the power to take practical action to navigate our experience with greater ease. Tarot is a beautiful way to receive the reflections, instructions, reassurance, and invitations we most need to hear to align more fully with the truth of any given moment.
These monthly gatherings are equal parts collective tarot reading, tarot theory discussion, group coaching session, and intuition development. We gather in a circle to dismantle any idea of a hierarchy, as all who feel the call to attend add value and richness to the group.
While each gathering is unique, in general we come together to receive a collective tarot reading, where cards are drawn for all of us who attend rather than a reading for any one individual. Typically I will channel a bespoke spread prior to each gathering to guide the collective reading, but free form reading is always a possibility.
Once the cards are drawn, I begin unpacking and interpreting them, inviting anyone who would like to share how what we are shown with the cards is reflected in their own lives. Participants also have the opportunity to share what they see in the cards, practicing the art of reading tarot intuitively.
No prior experience with tarot is necessary, novice and seasoned readers and receivers are encouraged to attend. No one is required to attempt reading cards or to discuss anything that makes them uncomfortable, simply being present and holding space for the group is beautiful and just as welcome.
In my experience, tarot is most useful when regarded as a mirror as opposed to a tool for prediction. When we find ourselves unable to gain enough distance from our experience to garner useful perspective, our faithful allies (who I refer to as guides) are capable of communicating to us through tarot. They reflect back to us what we are being invited to experience and for what purpose, which we may not be able to perceive on our own.
I hope to meet you in the next circle!
